The exteriors of each Hill Country Classics Custom Home are of Hardiplank™ lap siding, cedar, stucco and of course, native stone. Native stone has long been the basic building component of Hill Country homes since the early Texas pioneers first settled our area. Not only do they blend well with the Hill Country surroundings, but also resist the extreme Texas elements.

10” drilled and poured concrete pier footings, doubled 2” x 10” treated Y.P. sill beams and 2” x 8” floor joists 16” o.c. with 4’ x 8’ 3/4” tongue and grooved plywood subflooring.

Concrete Slab:
Steel reinforced engineered concrete slab inspected for compliance by licensed and registered structural engineer prior to concrete placement -
Typical 3000 psi concrete mix - 4 mil. poly vapor barrier - foundation elevation 10” (min) from ground level with #6 rebar @ grade beams and #4 rebar matted 16” o.c. @ top

INTERIOR WALLS:

2’’ X 4” studs #2 or better SPF 16” o.c., 8’ plate heights -

EXTERIOR WALLS:
